She told me she has been unemployed for 9 months.
( *****This is the real story with every word in this conversation real ) I asked her , whats her salary expectations were. She said, If I get 90K I will be ecstatic. I started my usual sales pitch about how great Wynisco is . She said ,Sachin stop. I don't care about Wynisco, I trust you. She owned me after that . Fast forward 20 days after course completion , She called me . Sachin I received an offer and you will not believe how much it is . I was like is it 100K ? She got an offer of :) 150K + Joining bonus + stock options + permanent coworking office space near her apartment. Story doesn't end here .. She said, Sachin , I had already received a 90k offer 1 week into the program. I could have dropped off without paying you a dime as per the contract but I stayed because I care more about the relationship than the contract. Smart move on her part as she then landed a 150K job later There are students who come and go and then there are legends .She is one of them. Destined to do big things in life .
